Mac showed brilliant early and middle pace tonight to win in exciting style. 6 got a flyer (3.63 sectional) and Mac (3.78) trapped behind 1 and 2 but blew those two away before the first and got inside the 6 early in back straight and then took off. Although only winning by ½ length never looked like losing and was still marginally ahead 2 bends after the line. The 6 was quite well backed so I think Mac's run was first class. His time was 24.59 so an upgrade looks on the cards. Well done Mac!! Col

Colin Thanks for both the Phone Call and your Race Report of Mac,it sounds impressive and we can only hope the R/M does not be too harsh on him. As my lucks out just now i decided to leave him alone and look what happens,Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo as Colin had asked before i'm saying again... You should all give me £1 million each and i'll stop betting the dogs, that way you'll all be Oi Oi'ing all the way to the bank..

Brilliant effort by Mac. I really don't understand the times they come up with at Romford, surely he can only go up 1 grade, he only won half a length.

Disappointing Mac has been put up from A5 to A3 for a half length win, OK it was fastest time of the meeting but the times are wacky at Romford. The dog he beat was beaten in A5 on Friday. Never mind, hope he goes in again.

Richard Wacky is an understatement and if Mac deserves to go up 2 grades then surely the 2nd dog should have been put up 1 grade, makes no sense at all,if they think a jobs been pulled then surely the 2nd dogs improved loads along with Mac,come to think off it the whole field in that race were close on quicker than anything else.. As i've said before times mean sod all to me at Romford and lets see Mac PINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG for once and he'll justify the 2 grade uplift

Dave how is Mac? I see he hasn't run since 10 August and not on tomorrow evening card. Is he on the easy list?

Macs okay and think it may be my fault hes not out yet this week as i spoke to R/Office last Thursday and asked if possible for Mac to be put on occasional Saturday Morning Bags races so that everyone could see him now and again, they did ask about thursdays bags but i said Saturday would be better as lots of the members are working through the week and still would'nt be able to see him on thursdays.
If hes not out on saturday there will be hell to play for as we've had 1 solitary run in 1 month, add to this the fact he had to retrial after nearly being brought downb and the dog that finished tailed off but 2 lengths in front of him in 4th place never needed a trial..Disgraceful i.m.o
