Mac trapped okay this morning but the 1 dog moved straight to the middle from boxes and gave him a clout,he then got bother at 2nd bend but ran okay in general but did tire 1/2 way up the run in,the outside of the track is running best probably by about 3-4 lengths..

Didnt get out well enough, and was never in it. Did get a clout. Race was won by the 6 who was fav. Looked like he needed the run and will no doubt strip fitter next time.
Safe and sound will be a good return.

Once again missed the up, got slightly bumped by the 2 and that was that. Finished 6th.

Mac Runs Sat 7 October.
I see Mac is running 1.19 on Saturday.
As that will be my last meeting before returning to Africa I will be pleased to say hello to Colin and anyone else who may be there.
I should be there by 12.30 latest as I have Monas Vision running in the 12.47.
I'll be wearing a green fleece, glasses and grey hair.
Not too difficult to spot in the crowds round the bookies (lol).
Regards,
Keith

Hi Keith
Almost certain to be there tomorrow, will be nice to meet you before you leave.
Had a quick look at race, it looks tough against A1 A2 types but Mac's form of last race holding up well. 6th placed Sykos Dream won an open at Walthamstow on Tuesday and runner up Knot In Wood won yesterday 24.79
Good luck Mac!!
Col

Thanks Colin ,
It was interesting that we all started off with the old Millennium Greyhounds syndicate 5 or 6 years ago.
Pity we couldn't manage a winner on Saturday.
I got Sue home safely to her husband in St Albans on Saturday and flew back here to Ghana yesterday.
Just a long haul now until I get back to the Uk, probably not until next May.
Regards,
Keith

Lucky enough to see Mac,s race this afternoon, an excellent perfomance from him, he led up went a few lengths clear at the first bend and never looked like being caught. Well done Mac, hope Peggy does the same later.

I spent most of the afternoon at the hospital so didn't see the race. That has really cheered me up. Well done Mac, excellent time as well. As I write a Club member has written in to 854 (RIP) to praise Jim for his efforts with Mac. I agree.

First off sorry for no E-mails and Text messages this today but i had to pick Jo Burridge up from Newcastle this morning then pick up Roy Fellingham who were up seeing their pups today, sometimes although very rarely i'll get tied up with things like this and i hope you can all understand,i did though send messages last night so hope everyone remembered. Obviously i missed Macs race and found out from Colin that he had won,24-35 is fantastic albeit the track was fast today,he still done fastest time of the day and goes to show that hes defintely better when getting quicker runs. Really pleased for you all and might see if a wee Maiden next week can't be arranged PS:Once again he wins when i'm not on and have owners up,think thats the 4th time.lol

Thats good news as he was entered for a maiden Open and if entered again next week he should get taken.
I spoke to Jim last week and asked about him getting entered and he agreed with me,i think he has as good a chance of winning 1 of the opens as he has his A1/A2 and if i'm honest it would be great for the syndicate but especially for Colin who goes and walks him and Carly every sunday,i'd luv Mac to win an open and see Colin and his wifes faces....
