That split time for Lucy is outstanding. The final time is excellent as well, given its only her second race back and she hasn't run for 14 days. She can only improve, and 29.16 is a hell of a time to improve from.
Lets hope she is back on the card a bit quicker next time. Puppy Open before she turns two?

Well it doesn't look like Lucy is on the BAGS tomorrow or on Tuesday night's card. So as Thursday's card is an Open race affair I am hoping she might be running then - there is a puppy Standard.
Otherwise it is another 14 day break.

Its bloody annoying m8,i'm sure Mark would have been hoping she'd be out within the week and then probably looking at a puppy open but now its back to the drawing board.
I'll be chatting to Mark tomorrow and see whats what.

I guess everyone's seen Lucy's result.
I couldn't believe she missed the start and came out almost last, paced up on the outside just behind 4 others in a line at the first and looked certain to get a very bad bump but her trackcraft around bends 1 and 2 was superb. I was looking for her to be on the floor and once again couldn't believe my eyes when she got passed the 5 who was a big dog and went round together with the 1 and 2 all in line and actually got her nose just infront early in the back straight. Up to the 3rd bend it was a ding dong with all three trying their hearts out but was then joined by the 3 who got between her and the two inside runners and her race was over. She did also get her back legs taken on the run in but that only made a difference of how much she got beat, not to the result.
She opened at evens and was backed to 4/6. Unfortuneately I think a lot of us got our fingers burnt tonight but she will soon be winning again. She's still our darling!!!

Looks like it was a really messy race, I am sure Lucy will make amends next time. She has star potential. I think it would help if next time isn't two weeks away, she probably forgot what she was supposed to do at the start. Please Mr Page can Lucy run again a bit sooner next time???
