Lucy had her final requalifying trial and got bt 1 3/4 after leading till home straight, she done a 5-06 sect and calculated 29-51.
Very pleasing at this stage.

Hi All, thought i would post my opinions on 2nites race that Lucy is in. On first look at the race this is how i see the race goin, first off i would say that trap 2 ( slowaway 5.30 & 5.23 sec just wont help in this race ) and trap 4 ( not got great early and looks to have a bad draw between our girl and trap 3 consistent and about same early as 4 maybe alittle more early ) wont be winning, the race looks to be made for trap 1 great draw inside the very slowaway 2 and will have the rails to itself. Trap 6 good early but will she clear Lucy ? in my opinion if Lucy traps the 6 doesnt get a run. Trap 5 ( our Girl ) well looks to have a great chance in her trial she has done 5.06 sec and finish times of 29.51 she will hopefully strip fitter for that run and make all here, but i would say perhaps do 135 always combi t/c as i feel its between these 3 in this race would like to hear others opinions on this race

Lucy won an A4 really well the last run before her season, so I would be really hopeful if she is race fit or even close, because she has more talent than these. However that promising trial was 17 days ago. Don't know what work has gone into her since then, plus she must be about 13 weeks out of season now (Racing Post dont have this info in their form which I reckon is very bad) so I reckon she has maybe needs the run. 3 was 5/1 when she won her A6 so I can't have that. 4 hasnt run since April and its last trial (in the Racing Post anyway) was 25 October. 2 beat Lucy in that last trial and is a baby, who knows. But 1 should outpace 2 to the bend and would be my pick. 6 a danger if it can get past Lucy. 1-5-6 for me.
Just hope Lucy has a good run and gets back in the swing of racing.

I think Lucy, if ready has a great chance tonight. Mark can get them ready 1st time back from season so lets hope he can with Lucy.
I agree with Richard and Knockout that 1 is very well drawn. 2 is very interesting though, an April 05 who as far as I can see has had three name changes already and won his only trial in Ireland. very slow away in trials here but is bound to improve and ofcourse beat Lucy 1¾ in last trial after being 3 lengths adrift on sectional.
Good luck Lucy and come home safely!

Great effort from Lucy, Dave got it spot on, except the holding on bit. Another run or two and I am sure she will be going up those grades.
