As Dave stated last week if the bias is so great at Crayford which results in Peggy being seriously disadvantaged why not give her a race in one of the Sittingbourne sprints, with her early pace hopefully she could run a big race

At the moment i would'nt be bursting a gut to see her at Sittingbourne as theres been loads of injuries recently.
Also Julies Head Lad is due to go into hospital for an Op so it kind of leaves them tight for staff,i know thats not our fault but in all honesty i think she'd need to at least win her A5 before even being considered for an Open.

I was wondering if the Crayford RM might think of giving her an A6 if she doesn't win on Thursday. I know she has been favourite a few times but thats irrelevant if you don't win and it is now 9 without a win. An A6 might give her some confidence.

Dave
Even when Peggy wins her A5 at Crayford and goodness knows the game little beggar has tried her hardest to do so in all her nine races in the grade and will do so again today you must admit Dave it is looking increasingly unlikely that she will fulfil her potential at Crayford whether it is today or not that she wins it as she does not seem the same bitch round Crayford that ran all them super races at Sunderland and I am sure Julie will have tried to "gee"her up before now as Peggy’s form must be something of a concern to her.
I don’t want to suggest anything that you don’t want to materialise Dave as there wouldn’t be any point whether it is at this moment/later or whenever and I wouldn’t like to be blamed if she did run badly or even worse was injured even though I am sure that the overall list of injuries at Sittingbourne will only be pro rata to other tracks.
On the face of it, it just looked like a good opportunity for Peggy and something that every one of the clubs members could have watched and in fact a very obvious thing to try with a terrific bitch that has apparently so much potential
Having said all that unless we get advised not to for some reason I shall be backing her again today hoping she finds a better way round those bends.

Will speak to Julie but should be a simple case of 1 trial as she was withdrawn on the day of race and straight back on the card,it was nothing serious and only had to wait as she got put on some medication.

Peggy flew out of boxes and showed great early, led comfortably to past halfway with a bit of bother behind. Looked like she might do it today but fell in a hole again around last 2 bends. She went from leading to 5th between 3rd and run in. Very disappointing although the time of winner suggests a very slow track.

It is disappointing because when she was at Sunderland, she did seem to have more stamina. She started to tire at about 380 metres which made me think Crayford would be ideal for her. It's a mystery.
When Carly finally gets started at Romford I will be very interested to see how she performs, as she had a similar make up to Peggy at Sunderland (although I think she is quite a bit better than her sister).

Just watched Peggy,s race, she was three lengths clear by the winning line first time, raced very wide throughout which must have cost her a lot of ground, she was caught on the final bend and got beat about three lengths
