The big debate rolls on. (I can’t wait to find out what Dave has in mind.)Tuesday nights race will be interesting for Jimmy fans as its an A6 that he has every chance of winning and if he does I have no doubt the grader will move him up to A5 next time At 5.06 he has the best split and his last run of 29.44 is the best recent time in the race. Adding to this he has improved in every one of his last 6 races except the one on the 30th of June when he last missed the boxes but, he finished up last time out with a great run that I fancy will ensure him favouritism for this race. However although he is flavour of the month with me at the moment if he is less than 2/1 I wont back him as I wouldn’t consider him value because although I think he will win, at the moment he still has to lead to do so------- I will however still be rooting for him just as much. GAWAN JIMMY.

Well there’s not much I can say apart from not leading up as much as I had expected, the race time was within his capabilities he had a perfect run round, the two guys on 854 thought he would win and the starting price was value. Although I still love you Jimmy its back to the drawing board I’m afraid. Anybody else any ideas?

The last five metres again proved his undoing, even if he strengthens up a bit over the next three months we will be on winter going which I believe will continue to test his stamina. Lets see how the Oxford trial pans out.

I looked at this race thinking if he cleared the 3 game on, didnt see the race, but it was oh so close again.

Watched the race, dislike races when trainer has two dogs in race traps 2 and4, Jimmy did not break, the two dog caught a flyer and won easily, led all the way and won by about six lengths, must have done a fast time. Jimmy chased for a while but did not appear to be at the races

The trainer "Thinks alot" of the 2 but never said he fancied it but did warn us that if it got a clear it would give jimmy everything to do,sadly he was correct.

Watched the race, a different dog today, broke ok, led up, chopped off the two dog at the first bend, went a couple of lengths clear of the chasing 2 and the hot favourite in 5, the 2 dog closed right up to jimmy coming out of the third bend and forced a dead heat on the line.

Yes completely different dog when leading, thought he was beat in the back straight as the 5 dog was too close for my liking but he done well to cut the 3rd bend which made 5 slightly check up,however he dug in deep and 1/2 a stride before the line and 1/2 stride after the line he won on his own, just unfortunate bob of the heads.

What is there left to say about him? He certainly gives you value for money in the entertainment stakes and it is that will he wont he feeling that his races always seem to give you, no matter whether you have backed him or not, that gets the adrenaline flowing. I would think he is sure to stay in the grade for his next race which he should also win before being moved up and you can bet that he has at least a bit more in reserve which he is saving for the occasion. Keep on doing what you do best Jimmy judging by the number of times your topic has been read your fan club is growing fast, for whatever reason.
