::)Peggy can win again
I cant remember backing anything successfully to win three consecutive times especially a greyhound running in a graded race so 4 times is definitely a record for me but I said when she won the first one that I would back her till she lost and so I will---- no matter what she runs against.
However, I am now certain that the nearer the distances of her races are to 300 would be the best distance for her.
At well past halfway she was still accelerating away from them and if we could time her for say each 95 metres of her race I wouldn’t mind betting that her second and third 95 metres were faster than the first and second but in the latter part of the race as in all her races the runners were levelling out
Even though I don’t think that she will improve on her times much if at all at Crayford I shall probably back her every time she runs something I don’t really like doing with anything But although the grader will have to keep pushing her up in grades he cant stop her leading up because there isn’t anything at Cray ford that you would bet money on leading her to the first bend in the best of 3 runs the way she is now and whilst she is leading like that they have to catch her ------------------------------and although they probably will do in a trouble free race--------------- how many of them do you get.?

Hope she’s okay
It was A2 and the 5 looked to be the fastest up that Peggy had had inside her and she didn’t trap as well as she can. In addition the results hadn’t favoured the six traps but the race time was within her scope and she was still first to the bend just like we expected her to be. What happened after that I cant say and best keep our fingers crossed and wait until Dave has got the all clear from Julie.

Not spoken to Julie yet but the 5 dog just gotr up her inner approaching the bend and she moved off slightly,then just off 2nd bend the 4 dog got upsides her and proceeded to carry her out wide,race was now well and truly over and the 1 dog then gave her a wee bump,she just coasted home after that.
Can't win em all and i'm sure she'll be back for more.

My view is one race too many for her, she has been run ragged for the last couple of weeks and this with the upgrades caught up with her, having said that they obviously wanted to stop her and it worked, had she got clear could have been different story. I personally wouldnt want to see her out again for 10 days.

Not exactly sure what more info you require,shes got kennel sickness and needs time to get over it,will probably have to have 1 trial back as she was withdrawn from the card.
